Question 1

What does asklab actually do?

Accepted Answer

asklab tracks how AI search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude) talk about your brand — which sources they cite, what sentiment they express, and where you stack up against competitors. Think Google Search Console, but for AI search.

Question 2

How accurate is the brand mention extraction?

Accepted Answer

We benchmark Thai/English brand extraction at ~98% precision on our internal eval set. We use Google Gemini 2.5 Flash with a custom prompt that handles Thai brand naming conventions (compound nouns, prefix/suffix patterns) and rules out generic terms, AI platform names, and citation site names. Failures usually come from very new brands not yet in training data.

Question 3

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

AI Search Analyzer is free to use without login (10 queries/day per IP). Tracker workspace pricing scales by # of tracked prompts and # of brands monitored. Contact hello@asklab.ai for current pricing — we typically run a 14-day pilot before committing.

Question 4

How often does the tracker refresh?

Accepted Answer

Each tracked prompt re-runs daily by default (configurable: hourly, daily, weekly). Results appear in the workspace dashboard within ~5 minutes of capture. Historical data is retained indefinitely so you can spot trend changes month-over-month.

Question 5

What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?

Accepted Answer

GEO = Generative Engine Optimization. Where SEO focuses on ranking blue links on Google search results, GEO focuses on getting cited inside AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews). The signals overlap (high-quality content, schema markup, link authority) but GEO adds new ones: llms.txt, citability scoring, AI crawler access, brand entity recognition.
